Here is the third part of my recent Jacksonville Beach photo shoot. Thanks for your patience. I had some stuff come up last week that prevented me from finishing this.
I had a little fun with color grading on some of these images.
If you’d like to see the first two parts of this shoot, part one is here and part two is here.
Natural – Backlit by setting sun and gold fill reflector.
Color Grade 1
Color Grade 2
This came from a failed attempt to get her hair blowing sideways. I love the somber feel of this image with the color grading. Photography that evokes a feeling is my favorite.
Didn’t have time to do this idea properly. Sun was setting. Color grading helped make this one acceptable.
I like the subtle B&W of this color grade.
Notice the dramatic shift in the horizon. I was having to change zooms, keep focus, and shoot while the models walked toward me. A fun new challenge.
None of these images are sharp but it was fun trying to shoot a moving subject.
Some of the last shots of the day. Notice how golden this light is.
